The Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups held a plaque ceremony on the 24th by visiting Shinyang Elecom, a century-old small business, to listen to and encourage the difficulties faced by small business owners.
A century-old small business refers to an excellent small business with more than 15 years of experience and skilled technology, supported to survive and grow for over a hundred years. There are 916 such companies nationwide, with a total of 60 selected in the Gyeongnam region.

Shinyang Elecom, the subject of this plaque ceremony, is one of the 13 newly selected century-old small businesses in Gyeongnam last year.
Located in Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, Shinyang Elecom was established in July 2005 and has 17 years of experience. The company has independently developed and supplies fireproof explosion-proof limit switches, selling them under its own brand.
The company operates based on its technological capabilities, including four registered patents and one patent application. Recently, it received IECEx international certification for its fireproof explosion-proof limit switches and is striving to develop global markets.
