Hosting of the Korea-World Trade Business Week and Signing of the Economic Exchange Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding
Changwon City in Gyeongnam signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCCI) of Malaysia on the 24th to promote business cooperation and ensure the successful hosting of the 2023 Korea-World Overseas Chinese Business Week.
The delegation of 10 members stayed in Changwon for 2 nights and 3 days from the 23rd to the 25th, attending the opening ceremony of the 61st Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, touring tourist facilities, and visiting related local organizations such as the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Gyeongnam Technopark.

Through the visit of the Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s chairman group to Changwon, they once again discussed establishing a mutual cooperation system for economic, industrial, trade exchanges, and overall investment activities, as well as cooperation plans for the successful hosting of the 2023 Korea-World Overseas Chinese Business Week scheduled to be held in Changwon this November, signing an MOU for this purpose.
