Bar Owner Arrested for Wielding a Weapon at Customer While Intoxicated
The owner of an entertainment establishment who wielded a weapon at a customer in his own store was arrested by the police.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 24th that they have arrested A (40) on the spot on charges of assault with a weapon causing injury (special injury) and are investigating him.
A is accused of wielding a weapon at B (48) around 5 a.m. at a Hold'em pub he operated in Yongbong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
B was cut on the chest but is reported to be in no life-threatening condition.
According to the investigation, the dispute began when B stopped A, who was intoxicated, from scolding an employee, and A took a weapon from the kitchen and committed the act.
