On the 23rd, KOTRA announced that it held the 'Labor-Management-Supplier Safety and Health Practice Declaration Ceremony' and the 'Community Safety Supplies Delivery Ceremony' at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
About 30 people participated in the event, including KOTRA President Yoo Jeong-yeol, Labor Union Chairman Gong Tae-won, representatives of supplier companies, and officials from special schools in Seocho-gu.
On this day, KOTRA and resident supplier companies held a practice declaration ceremony pledging to make safety a daily habit, comply with safety laws, establish safety systems, and participate in safety and health activities, actively committing to creating a safe workplace.
At the community safety supplies delivery ceremony, children's safety reflective straps, safety umbrellas, and other items were delivered to nearby Seoul Narae School, Daniel School, and Yangjae Byeolha Daycare Center.
The in-house safety and health club Anbo Lab, volunteer club Raft Hands, and KOTRA employees participated in the production. Employee donations were also collected. The items were made with fluorescent reflective materials to help drivers easily identify children on dark or rainy roads.
