Competition Rate 1.5 to 1 for 'Korea's National Parks' Commemorative Coins... 'Seoraksan' Tops
The Bank of Korea announced on the 22nd that a total of 46,225 orders were received for the 2023 "National Parks of Korea" commemorative coins during the reservation period from the 2nd to the 17th, resulting in a competition rate of 1.5 to 1.
Among the single items by sales type, Seoraksan was the most preferred with a competition rate of 1.8 to 1, compared to Chiaksan and Wolchulsan. The 3-coin set recorded a competition rate of 1.5 to 1.
The initially planned issuance volume was 30,000 coins. The Bank of Korea and the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation will determine the winners through a random draw on the 24th. The winners will be announced on the 31st, and the commemorative coins will be distributed starting from the 28th of next month.

The draw will be conducted separately for each single coin and set, with one number (random number) assigned per coin (or set), followed by a random selection.
