JW Pharmaceutical Launches New Constipation Medicine 'Bebium Syrup'
Lactulose Concentrate Ingredient Over-the-Counter Drug
JW Pharmaceutical announced on the 22nd that it has launched a new constipation medicine, 'Bebium Syrup.'
Bebium Syrup is an over-the-counter constipation medicine with lactulose concentrate as its main ingredient. Lactulose concentrate is a synthetic disaccharide that is not absorbed by the body, so it does not raise blood sugar levels. Additionally, it induces bowel movements by drawing water through osmotic action in the large intestine.
The ingredient is certified for safety by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), making it safe for all ages, including chronic constipation patients, infants, women, and the elderly. JW Pharmaceutical emphasized that the syrup, which comes in a stick form with a sweet taste, is convenient to take and easy to carry.
