Hampyeong-gun Conducts Safety and Health Training for Job Project Participants
For Participants in Public Work and Community Job Programs
Hampyeong County conducted safety and health education for participants in the first half of 2023 job projects.
According to the county on the 21st, safety and health education was held the previous day at the county office's main conference room for about 90 local job project participants and staff in charge.
This education was organized to prevent safety accidents that may occur during work and to raise safety awareness among project participants.
Song Hyo-geun, director of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, served as the instructor and provided training on types of safety accidents and response methods, including accidents and cases during various tasks.
In particular, since many participants are inexperienced and elderly due to the nature of the project, actual cases were used to enhance understanding of behavior guidelines in case of various accidents.
A county official said, “We will prioritize safety in carrying out the project,” and added, “We ask workers to strictly follow work rules to prevent various accidents.”
