Relief, 20th Anniversary Manifesto Video and Special Collection Released
Kuho, a fashion brand operated by Samsung C&T Fashion Division, announced on the 21st the release of its 20th anniversary manifesto video and special collection.
The manifesto video was filmed against the backdrop of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul. It features Kuho designers creating and designing garments inspired by the architecture, as well as models walking through various parts of DDP wearing Kuho's new collection.
In the video, Kuho also showcased a special collection reflecting the brand's values. This special collection was themed around the 1967 French film "Playtime" directed by Jacques Tati. Based on the tailoring of men's wear featured in the film, the collection combines witty and futuristic details to propose styles infused with Kuho's identity. It consists of structurally tailored and functionally variable jackets, oversized jackets with three-dimensional patterns adding a sense of space, modular design skirt pants that make the body appear ideal, skirts and inners with asymmetrical details, among others.
