Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, Stands Out as an Excellent Institution in Disaster Response Safety Korea Training
Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, was selected as an excellent institution in the evaluation of the ‘2022 Disaster Response Safe Korea Training’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Disaster Response Safe Korea Training is a national comprehensive exercise conducted annually by local governments, public institutions, and government ministries nationwide to establish a nationwide total disaster response system to protect the lives and property of the people.
The Safe Korea Training evaluated this time was conducted from November 14 to 25 last year.
Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, was selected as an excellent institution in the evaluation of the '2022 Disaster Response Safety Korea Training' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
View original imageBased on on-site action guidelines, the county conducted discussion and field training assuming a complex disaster situation at the Samcheonpo Power Plant, a national infrastructure, caused by an earthquake. More than 310 participants from 16 organizations and groups, including the police, fire station, Korea Electric Power Corporation, private companies, and a citizen experience group, successfully completed a large-scale joint training for rescue, recovery, and restoration.
The training evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-evaluations and on-site evaluations based on four evaluation indicators: training planning, training design, training implementation, and evaluation and feedback.
