Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, carried out a street campaign and cleaning volunteer activities on the afternoon of the 18th near Daerim Station and Daerim Central Market to create a clean urban environment.
The 'Making Clean Daerim-dong' campaign was conducted jointly by the public and private sectors, with about 70 participants including Chinese-Korean organizations and Daerim 2-dong professional groups. They promoted proper waste disposal methods and smoking bans in no-smoking areas to residents, and carried out street cleaning in vulnerable areas by collecting cigarette butts.
