On the same day, Reynolds announced the sale of Mint Mobile through his official Twitter account, stating, "T-Mobile assured us that they would maintain our spontaneous and boundary-pushing reckless messaging strategy without interference."

Recognizing Mint Mobile's growth potential, Reynolds became a major investor in the company and was also actively involved in corporate promotion. He produced advertisements himself and appeared as an advertising model to increase Mint Mobile's brand awareness.
