Busan Office of Education Supports Safe School Arrival and Departure Service for Special Schools
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education provides safety services for the safe commuting of students at special schools.
On the 14th, Busan Office of Education announced that it will support safety services such as 'student commuting text notifications,' 'student location tracking,' and 'school bus location tracking service' for students at special schools.
The 'student commuting text notification' links the student's 'safety notifier' device with a repeater installed at the school gate to send text messages to parents confirming the student's arrival and departure.
In case of an emergency, if the student presses the emergency button on the device, a loud alarm sounds and a text message is sent to the parents as well.
The 'school bus location tracking service' allows real-time checking of the fluctuating school bus arrival times depending on weather and traffic conditions, providing convenience by reducing waiting times.
Busan Office of Education plans to accept applications from special school students and schools operating school buses and support the installation and usage fees of devices for the commuting text notification service and school bus location tracking service.
