National Sinbulsan Natural Recreation Forest Sangdan District, Reopening on April 1
1-Hour Walking Course from Parking Lot to Forest House
Customer Luggage Transport Service Provided for Comfortable Hiking
The Korea Forest Service's National Natural Recreation Forest Management Office (Director Kim Myung-jong) will reopen the upper area of the National Sinbulsan Natural Recreation Forest on April 1, after the winter closure period held to prevent safety accidents.
The "1-hour walking recreation forest" located in the upper area of the recreation forest has been operating since 2014 to provide visitors with the joy of walking while enjoying the excellent natural scenery, including the refreshing water flow of the Sinbulsan Paraeso Waterfall and the dense forest, along the 2.3 km distance from the lower parking lot to the upper area rooms.
The "1-hour walking recreation forest" is especially popular among families with children due to the clear valley path along the way, offering double satisfaction by allowing visitors to enjoy both the recreation forest and their health. To ensure a comfortable and leisurely walk, the recreation forest provides a luggage transport service for customers, which has received favorable reviews.
Additionally, visitors can hike Sinbulsan, Ganwolsan, and Yeongchuksan, three of the nine peaks of the "Yeongnam Alps," named for their beauty reminiscent of the European Alps, along with Ganwoljae and the Sinbulsan Silver Grass Plain, making it popular among recreation guests and hiking enthusiasts.
