Hanssem Wins Grand Prize in ESG Report Category at US LACP Vision Awards
Hansem, a comprehensive home interior specialist company, announced on the 13th that its sustainability management report was selected as the grand prize (Platinum) in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) report category of the Vision Awards by the United States' largest marketing research organization, the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP).
LACP is a marketing research organization composed of communication professionals in the United States. It awards three types of honors: the Spotlight Award, which evaluates corporate communication creations; the Inspire Award, which selects corporate publications; and the Vision Awards, which recognize annual publications such as sustainability management reports. Each award is divided into grand prize, Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels.
Hansem's sustainability management report won the highest grade, the grand prize, in the Vision Awards ESG report category. It received perfect scores in 7 out of 8 evaluation criteria, including first impression, design, creativity, and information delivery, achieving a total score of 99 points. The report was highly praised for breaking away from the conventional image of reports by adopting a cover design using icons to enhance accessibility. As a result, among over 1,000 participating companies, it was also ranked 11th in the LACP-selected excellent works, the World Wide Top 100.
This is the first time that a sustainability management report from the domestic furniture and interior industry has won the grand prize in a category at the Vision Awards. In particular, Hansem demonstrated strong ESG capabilities by receiving higher evaluations than many leading global consumer goods brands in this assessment. Additionally, Hansem was selected for the Gold prize in the overall evaluation of the Vision Awards sustainability management reports. Hansem plans to further strengthen its ESG management capabilities and continue active communication with the market and consumers.
Park Seong-hoon, Head of Financial Planning at Hansem, stated, “Hansem is strengthening its ESG management capabilities in various areas such as the use of eco-friendly materials and improvements in governance and corporate culture. We will continue to internalize ESG management principles and strive to achieve a higher level of sustainability management capabilities.”
