COVID-19 New Cases 4,198... Similar to One Week Ago (Update)
On the 13th, the number of new COVID-19 cases recorded was in the low 4,000s, similar to a week ago.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight, 4,198 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 30,638,929.
The number of new cases decreased by 5,144 from the previous day (9,342) due to reduced testing over the weekend. Compared to a week ago on the 6th (4,300 cases), it decreased by 102.
Among the new cases, 12 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 142, down by 4 from the previous day.
