People Power Party selects Kim Ilsu as Gumi candidate for Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly in April 5 by-elections
Kim Sang-baek Recommended for Pohang City Council Member, Final Confirmation by Top Leadership
The People Power Party Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Nomination Management Committee (Chairperson: Assemblywoman Im Ija) announced on the 12th that they have recommended Kim Ilsu (61), CEO of Korea Platec, as the People Power Party candidate for the Gumi 4th electoral district of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly in the upcoming by-election on April 5, and Kim Sangbaek (54), former executive director of Gyeongbuk Life Forest, as the People Power Party candidate for the Pohang City Council in the Pohang City Na electoral district.
The People Power Party Gyeongbuk Provincial Party explained, "The decision was made after comprehensively evaluating the candidates' morality, voter trust, local public opinion, and contributions to the party."
They will be finally confirmed as the People Power Party candidates through a resolution at the People Power Party Supreme Council meeting held on the morning of the 13th.
