All 25 Motorcycle Gang Members Without License Plates Arrested
A group accused of reckless driving on motorcycles without license plates in Seoul was apprehended by the police.
On the 10th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that all 25 suspects were arrested on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act and the Automobile Management Act.
They are suspected of enjoying reckless driving in Seoul between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on November 10 last year. Riding motorcycles with removed license plates, they repeatedly violated traffic regulations and caused traffic hazards around Yongsan-gu and Jungnang-gu in Seoul.
On December 5 last year, the police tracked the location of one suspect’s mobile phone base station and arrested him. Additionally, by analyzing data communication records and conducting seizure and forensic analysis of mobile phones, they obtained numerous videos of motorcycle reckless driving.
Based on the videos, the police identified accomplices. The suspects were known to be part of reckless driving groups active in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon, who united through social networking services (SNS) to disrupt traffic order. From December 5 last year to the 1st of this month, the police conducted investigations and arrested all 25 suspects.

A police official stated, "We urge citizens to actively report to the police if they spot reckless driving groups on the roads."
