Lotte Distribution Group Delivers Relief Supplies for Turkey Earthquake Victims
Raising 110 Million Won in Goods and Donations

View original imageLotte Distribution Group announced on the 10th that it held a relief supplies delivery ceremony at the Embassy of T?rkiye in Korea to support recovery efforts for the earthquake damage in T?rkiye and Syria.
The relief supplies were composed of essential items such as clothing, blankets, and wet wipes, which were gathered through the combined efforts of Lotte Mart, Lotte Home Shopping, and Seven Eleven, based on the needs on site. Lotte Distribution Group plans to take full responsibility together with the Disaster Relief Association throughout the entire process, from quality inspection of the relief supplies to their delivery to the affected areas.
From the 14th to the 28th of last month, Lotte Distribution Group conducted a donation campaign in which customers, employees, and the company all participated. Salvation Army donation boxes were operated at major stores of Lotte Mart and Lotte Hi-Mart for customers to participate, and on Lotte On, a fundraising page collected donations by accumulating 1,000 KRW per supportive comment posted. An exclusive donation account for employees was also operated to encourage voluntary participation. Including the relief supplies prepared by Lotte Distribution affiliates, a total of approximately 110 million KRW worth of goods and donations were raised.
