From the 13th, Hongjecheon Overpass Repair Work... Partial Nighttime Traffic Control
Construction Work from 10 PM to 6 AM
Seoul Facilities Corporation announced on the 10th that it will implement nighttime traffic control from the 13th of this month to the 15th of next month due to maintenance work on the Hongjecheon Overpass on the Naebusunsan-ro.
This maintenance work is being carried out to improve the safety of the bridge and driving conditions, with night-time operations including surface milling of the deteriorated road, waterproofing of the bridge deck, and asphalt paving. Road paving and lane painting will also be conducted simultaneously.
The target section is a 1km stretch in the Seongsan direction from Yeonhui IC to Seodaemun-gu Office on Naebusunsan-ro, where partial control of 1 to 2 lanes out of 3 lanes is expected from 10 PM to 6 AM the following day.

Han Guk-yeong, Director of Seoul Facilities Corporation, said, “We ask for the understanding of citizens regarding the unavoidable partial traffic control during the construction period, and we urge drivers to slow down and use detour routes in the affected section during the control period.” He added, “The corporation will do its best to provide a safer driving environment on the exclusive automobile roads for all citizens.”
