View original imageJungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) launched the first alley cleaning of 2023 on the 9th in Myeonmok 2-dong, officially starting efforts to make Jungnang clean.
The alley cleaning, which has been steadily conducted since July 2018 immediately after Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi took office, marked its 122nd session on this day.
On this day, 20 local residents participated, collecting trash and tidying the environment mainly along alleys of side roads approximately 570 meters long and areas vulnerable to illegal dumping.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “This year as well, I will spare no effort to clean every corner of the alleys together with local residents to create a clean Jungnang.”

Meanwhile, the alley cleaning with residents has involved a total of 3,371 people so far, sweeping and cleaning a distance of 99.7 km.
