Gyeongnam's First Content Platform 'Ginovation' Opens
The Gyeongnam Gimhae Life Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 9th that it will launch the content platform ‘G-Novation’ on the 10th.
According to the agency, G-Novation is the first content platform in Gyeongnam, combining the letter G?which stands for Game, Gimhae, and Global?with Innovation, symbolizing the slogan “Gimhae, Innovating through Content.”
On the G-Novation platform, anyone can access the metaverse (G-Meta Town), which was first established by the agency in the province in 2021, for free and utilize programs such as hosting startup festivals, attending educational sessions, exhibiting products, and opening virtual stores.
It is also possible to apply for content idea contests, youth game academies, and content festivals, as well as make inquiries in real time.
A testbed support project will also be implemented to assist companies preparing new business items in the game and platform industry sectors with item advancement, marketing, and branding.
On the 28th, the G-Novation Content Forum and the second joint public-private Content Industry Strategy TF team meeting are scheduled to be held.

Park Seong-ho, director of the agency, said, “We will continue to take the lead in new challenges to revitalize the content industry,” adding, “We will make sure the platform becomes a place that content industry workers in the province visit regularly.”
