Busan Office of Education Operates Education Policy Communication Advisory Group
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is forming and operating the Busan Education Policy Communication Advisory Group to incorporate expert opinions when establishing education policies.
The advisory group consists of a total of 10 experts from various fields including the Office of Education, parents, related organizations, teachers, and the local community, such as Park Kyung-eun, Busan City Policy Chief, Kwon Tong-il, Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Education, and Kang Jeong-chil, CEO of Busan Yeontan Bank.

They will operate the advisory group twice a year, in the first and second half of the year, selecting topics (agenda) by education policy field at the Superintendent's Communication and Empathy Room in the annex of the City Office of Education, providing advice on the overall promotion of operational policies and suggesting alternatives.
Ha Yoon-soo, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, “Our Office of Education will realize systematic education policies for the development of Busan education by conducting sufficient opinion gathering to set the direction of education policies, discover education policies reflecting local conditions, and perform post-evaluation of projects.”
