Dr. Now "Surpasses 3,000 Partner Hospitals and Pharmacies"
Remote medical platform DoctorNow announced on the 8th that the number of affiliated hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies has surpassed 3,000.
DoctorNow, which started its first non-face-to-face medical consultation and prescription drug delivery service in December 2020, secured about 700 affiliates in the first quarter of last year and exceeded 3,000 within a year.
Among the 20 medical specialties provided by DoctorNow, 58% are specialists, of which more than half, 36.1%, are specialists in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. Recently, non-face-to-face medical consultations have been recognized as contributing to resolving the medical blind spots amid the pediatric 'medical crisis' situation.
The number of affiliated pharmacies is also continuously increasing. The company explained that affiliation requests are mainly coming from areas with small populations, such as the outskirts of the metropolitan area and small local regions, where operational vitality is needed.

Kim Taehwan, Chief Sales Officer of DoctorNow, said, "As the number of doctors and pharmacists participating in non-face-to-face medical consultations steadily increases, an environment has been established where patients can connect with professional medical staff even in situations where face-to-face consultations are difficult. This change is thanks to the noble will of medical professionals who want to be close to patients regardless of commercial districts, and we will continue to strive to create an ecosystem that can coexist with affiliated medical institutions and pharmacies."
