Korea Startup Forum to Host 'Busan Slushed' on June 29
Busan Startup Support Center Establishment Promotion Team and Business Agreement
Korea Startup Forum (Chairman Jaewook Park, hereinafter referred to as Kospo) announced on the 7th that it will hold 'Busan Slushed' at BEXCO, Busan on June 29. To ensure the successful hosting of the event, it also signed a business agreement with the Busan Startup Agency Establishment Promotion Group (Director Seongkwon Lee, Deputy Mayor of Economy, Busan Metropolitan City).
Slushed is a spin-off event of Slush, the world's largest startup event. Ahead of the full-scale preparation for Busan Slushed, Kospo signed a business agreement with the Busan Startup Agency Establishment Promotion Group at the International Protocol Room of Busan City Hall on the afternoon of the 6th. They agreed to jointly promote cooperation systems and the establishment of global networks necessary for the event.

View original imageWith this agreement, Kospo will provide programs for the growth of startups in the Busan area in addition to the overall planning and operation of Busan Slushed. The Busan Startup Agency Establishment Promotion Group will be responsible for infrastructure and administrative support for the successful hosting of the event.
Busan Slushed will be held under the theme of 'Revitalizing the local startup ecosystem and global expansion through solving urban problems.' The purpose is to have Busan startups directly propose solutions to various issues Busan faces, such as population decline, urban regeneration, and improvement of the startup environment, emphasizing that startups can be key solutions to revitalize the region. By sharing Busan's experiences and cases with regions around the world facing similar environments, it also plans to promote the successful global expansion of local startups.
