On the 6th, Chief Justice Kim Myung-soo nominated Kim Hyung-doo, Chief Judge of the Seoul High Court, and Jung Jung-mi, Judge of the Daejeon High Court, as successor candidates for Constitutional Court Justices Lee Sun-ae and Lee Seok-tae, who are retiring this month and next month.
Chief Judge Kim served as Judicial Policy Research Officer, Judicial Policy Second Officer, and Senior Research Fellow at the Court Administration Office. From 2021 to 2022, he was Deputy Director of the Court Administration Office, and in 2017, he worked as Chief Judge of the Civil Division 2 at the Seoul Central District Court.
