Gokseong-gun Holds Anti-Corruption and Integrity Commitment Rally
Establishment of Anti-Corruption and Integrity Policies, Promotion of Integrity Culture within the Organization, etc.
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced on the 2nd that it held an ‘Anti-Corruption and Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting’ with Governor Lee Sang-cheol and about 100 employees at the main hall of the county office.
Last year, two employees from Gokseong-gun’s own excellent integrity departments read the resolution as representatives, and all employees performed a gesture of unfolding integrity towels.
On the 2nd, Gokseong-gun held an 'Anti-Corruption and Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting' at the main hall of the county office with about 100 employees, including County Governor Lee Sang-cheol.

The Anti-Corruption and Integrity Practice Resolution includes ▲ leading by example to realize a clean public service society ▲ eradicating abuse of position and authority, involvement in vested interests, and solicitation or recommendation ▲ eradicating acceptance of money and entertainment ▲ compliance with the code of conduct for public officials and fair performance of duties.
Gokseong-gun received a grade 2 in the comprehensive public institution integrity evaluation last year.
This year, as an effort to receive grade 1, it plans to establish anti-corruption and integrity policies and spread a culture of integrity within the organization.
An official from the county said, “To realize a clean Gokseong, it is important to establish various systems and lay the foundation. We will continue to promote education and campaigns to help public officials cultivate a sincere heart of integrity on their own and bring about change.”
