Expecting Synergy Effects through Utilization of Global Network

IMM Investment announced on the 2nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a strategic partnership with Axe Management Partners Limited.

Axe Management Partners is a pan-Asia multi-asset alternative investment firm co-founded by Adrian Cheng, Vice Chairman of New World Group, a leading conglomerate in Hong Kong, founder of K11 Group, and owner of Rosewood Hong Kong, along with investment professionals Sam Lau and Gary Kwok, both with backgrounds in global investment banking.

IMM Investment plans to pursue collaboration with Axe Management Partners to create synergy effects in the domestic investment market. On the 28th of last month, they exchanged agreements with Flow Capital, the parent company of Axe Management Partners, based on this plan. As the first step of the partnership, IMM Investment’s ACM (Alternative Capital Markets) division and Axe Management Partners will combine their expertise to jointly explore investment opportunities in the domestic real estate sector.

To this end, Axe Management Partners and its founding members will provide their solid experience in real estate investment and development, as well as their global network and resources, while IMM Investment will contribute its domestic market experience and operational expertise to collaborate in securing investment opportunities across various asset classes.

Jang Dong-woo, CEO of IMM Investment, stated, “We expect to strengthen our real estate investment capabilities through collaboration with Axe Management Partners, and we also believe this will enable us to expand into the Asian market together.”
