Refuting Opposition's Allegation of Biden's Involvement in South Korea Visit via Media Notice
"No Involvement in Any Government Affairs"
On the 28th, the Presidential Office refuted the Democratic Party of Korea's allegations that astrologer Cheongong was involved in U.S. President Joe Biden's visit to Korea as "absurd."
The Presidential Office spokesperson's office stated this in a press release titled "Presidential Office's Position on the Democratic Party's Additional Allegations Regarding Cheongong" on the afternoon of the same day.
It added, "It is truly regrettable that at such an important time when we should be focusing on people's livelihoods and national governance, baseless claims about Cheongong continue to be made," emphasizing, "We clearly state that Cheongong was not involved in the selection of the presidential residence site nor in any aspect of national governance."
