Korail Gwangju Jeonnam to Adjust Train Operations Starting Next Month 1st
Korea Railroad Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced that train operations will be adjusted starting from the 1st of next month.
This adjustment is part of the 'Railroad Safety Enhancement Measures' announced last month by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, reflecting the securing of 1 hour of track inspection time during daytime hours in the metropolitan area section and slow operation due to track improvement construction to strengthen safe train operations.
A total of 138 trains will be adjusted this time: 80 on the Honam Line, 56 on the Jeolla Line, and 2 on the Gyeongjeon Line, with train departure and arrival times changing by an average of about 3 minutes.
