Dong-A University, Awards for Extracurricular Program Activities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-A University Education Innovation Center held the ‘2022 Academic Year Non-Curricular Program (DECO) Activity Awards Ceremony’ to expand the achievements of non-curricular education and encourage participation in non-curricular programs.
The awards ceremony, held on the 23rd at the main conference room of Dong-A University Seunghak Campus Headquarters, was divided into the presentation of the ‘DECO Scholarship’ and the ‘DECO Supporters 7th Term Completion Ceremony.’
Non-curricular programs refer to educational programs offered separately from the curricular education curriculum, encompassing all educational activities that do not grant academic credits, including special lectures, mentoring, contests, camps, and various other types.
Currently, Dong-A University operates over 500 non-curricular programs annually, with more than 20,000 enrolled students (including multiple participations) participating each year, highlighting the importance and significance of non-curricular education.
The DECO Scholarship Awards Ceremony was held to select students who actively participated in non-curricular program activities throughout the 2022 academic year, share their achievements, and encourage more students to take an interest in non-curricular education.
