Yonsei University Law School Team Wins Runner-Up at 'Mock International Commercial Arbitration Competition'

[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-won Choi] The Yonsei University Law School team won second place at the 13th Mock International Commercial Arbitration Competition held online on the 18th.
The Yonsei Law School team (advised by Professor Jun-ki Kim) consisted of 14th class Yoo-jeong Lee (team leader), Hye-rin Kang, Jeong-chan Yoon, Soo-min Jeon in the role of advocates, 14th class Jung-min Kang, Su-jin Lee, Ye-rim Lee, 12th class Seung-min Kim and Tae-hoon Lee as researchers, and undergraduate researchers Boo-kyung Ko, Hee-won Park, and Joon-sang Lee.
This competition was jointly hosted by Seoul National University Asia-Pacific Law Institute, the International Arbitration Center of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, and the International Arbitration Practice Association. Sponsorship was provided by major domestic law firms including Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, Lee & Ko, Shin & Kim, HwaWoo, Yulchon, Choongjung, KCL, KL Partners, Peter & Kim, Apex, and Kim & Chang.
The Mock International Commercial Arbitration Competition, held every February, is an annual event for the arbitration community where practitioners, scholars specializing in international arbitration institutions and commercial arbitration law in Korea, and future legal professionals come together. All procedures are conducted in English, aiming to nurture future experts in international commercial arbitration.
