The agency announced on the 23rd that it will hold a startup competition targeting prospective entrepreneurs with creative ideas and companies within three years of establishment that have innovative commercialization items, and is accepting applications until the 22nd of next month.
Through the first and second preliminary rounds and the final presentation evaluation, the competition will operate separate leagues for prospective entrepreneurs and startup founders until the final competition held in October. A total of 10 winning teams will be selected and awarded a total prize of 115 million KRW.
In addition to the prize money, the final winning teams will receive various benefits related to startup support projects hosted by Gyeonggi-do, such as additional points and special guarantee benefits when moving into the Gyeonggi Venture Startup Support Center.
The 30 teams advancing beyond the finals will be provided with opportunities to attract investment through three months of mentoring, demo days, and other accelerating support.
