Recruitment of Content Talent Development Institutions and Consortia
Content Creative Talent Partnership and Content One Campus
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 22nd that they are recruiting thirty-seven institutions to participate in the content talent development support project. The project is divided into Content Creative Talent Partnership (10.9 billion KRW) and Content One Campus (4.1 billion KRW).
The former is a matching program between experts (mentors) and creators (mentees) in various content fields that has been ongoing since 2012. Through close apprenticeship-style mentoring, it fosters creative skill development and facilitates entry into related industries. Recent beneficiaries include writer Moon Ji-won of the drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and director Hong Jun-pyo of the film "Tae-il." The Korea Creative Content Agency is recruiting content companies, institutions, associations, and organizations capable of planning and operating mentoring programs. Platform institutions will be selected by field and supported with 540 million KRW each. A representative from the agency stated, "After the final selection of institutions, creative trainees will be selected to operate educational programs," adding, "We plan to nurture up to 400 personnel who can be immediately deployed in the field."
