Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate in spreading media coverage related to suicide prevention, discovering and planning issues. Specifically, they plan to collaborate on ▲ spreading media coverage and discovering and planning issues related to suicide prevention ▲ education and promotional projects for suicide prevention ▲ awareness improvement projects to spread a culture of life respect and suicide prevention.
Hwang Taeyeon, Director of the Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation, said, "As data proves the connection between the mental health of the people and the suicide rate, the government continuously announces policies to reduce the suicide rate, but for these policies to be realized, significant interest from the media industry is necessary." He added, "With the signing of the business agreement with the Korea Medical Bio Journalists Association, we hope to strengthen the media's responsibility for suicide prevention and spread the life respect culture movement through issue discovery and planning."

Kim Cheoljung, President of the Korea Medical Bio Journalists Association, emphasized, "Our nation's suicide rate is among the highest in the world, and many of those are people marginalized in our society." He stressed, "Taking this agreement as an opportunity, we will focus on social environments and systems identified as causes of extreme choices, raise these issues, and ultimately contribute to suicide prevention by promoting various projects with the Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation."
