As a result of the selection, the city will receive an institutional commendation and financial incentives.
Previously, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducted an innovation evaluation targeting 243 local governments nationwide (17 metropolitan and 226 basic local governments). The evaluation consisted of 10 indicators across five areas: institutional autonomous innovation, participation and cooperation, resident-customized administration, innovation in working methods, and innovation diffusion and public perception.
In the evaluation, the city achieved excellent grades in most indicators through the spread of an innovation culture across all areas of city administration, including organizational restructuring, preparation of 100 core tasks, and improvement of organizational culture communicating with employees.
