52 Billion KRW Invested in Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sacheon City in Gyeongnam is creating a wooden cultural experience center within the Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest, which has established itself as a new healing tourist destination.
The city plans to invest a total of 5.2 billion KRW in the project, starting with design competitions and program development this year, aiming to complete the wooden cultural experience center by 2025.
This Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest wooden cultural experience center project is being promoted following its final selection in 2022 as part of the Korea Forest Service’s local transfer public contest for wooden cultural experience center construction projects.
The city will install various facilities utilizing wood, such as a wood experience center, wood exhibition hall, wood playroom, and net adventure, creating a space where visitors can connect with nature through education and play.
