Gwangju Nam-gu Council Donates Earthquake Relief Funds for Turkey and Syria
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Nam-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 16th that it donated 1 million won in relief funds to the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross for emergency aid to victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
This donation was raised through the participation of 11 council members and staff of the council secretariat, and will be used for local relief efforts such as food and relief supplies support.
