Lotte Department Store Hosts 'Pokemon Pop-up Store' at Lotte World Mall
Online Game Space Recreated Offline
'Academy' Theme with a School Concept Open to Everyone
Lotte Department Store announced on the 16th that it will operate a 'Pok?mon' pop-up store at the 1st-floor plaza of Jamsil Lotte World Mall from the 17th to the 27th to celebrate the new school semester season.
This pop-up store is designed with an 'Academy' theme to match the new school admission season, using the new Pok?mon game characters 'Scarlet' and 'Violet' with the concept of a 'school anyone can enroll in.' The pop-up store is arranged with an admission mission experience zone and a new product sales area, and it is especially planned to recreate the Pok?mon world offline.
First, the experience zone is themed as a game where visitors enroll in school and complete missions. The experience zone features themed concept halls such as the gym, classroom, and art room, decorated to show Pok?mon enrolling in the academy, and also includes photo zones where families can take pictures together. In particular, an event is prepared where customers who collect stamps from the three concept halls will receive one random Pok?mon character sticker. Additionally, the pop-up store offers 'Ichiban Kuji,' a 'no-lose lottery' product where customers can win various goods including Pok?mon character plush toys.
Various events are also prepared for customers visiting the Pok?mon pop-up store. During the event period, visitors will receive one of three Pok?mon sun caps on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, customers who post their visit on SNS will be entered into a draw to win a Pikachu hologram pop talk. A special promotion for purchasers is also offered. Customers who spend over 70,000 KRW at the pop-up store will have a chance to win various prizes such as a Nintendo Switch Scarlet & Violet edition and an Arceus figure through a lucky draw event.
