New Confirmed Cases 14,371... About 1,700 Fewer Than a Week Ago (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Byun Seon-jin] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 14th at midnight that 14,371 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 30,369,744.
The number of new cases increased by 9,197 compared to the previous day (5,174), when testing was reduced over the weekend. However, it decreased by 1,741 compared to a week ago on the 7th (16,112) and by 5,244 compared to two weeks ago on the 31st of last month (19,615), continuing the downward trend.
Among the new cases, 26 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized was 245, down by 18 from the previous day. The number of critically ill patients has remained in the 200s for nine consecutive days.
