Promotion of 'Fingerprint Pre-registration System' at 90 Stores Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Gangdong Police Station in Seoul announced on the 14th that it has been conducting a campaign to promote the fingerprint pre-registration system since the 1st of this month.
School Food will provide packaging boxes containing QR codes for fingerprint registration at 90 stores nationwide to guide people about the fingerprint pre-registration system.
The fingerprint pre-registration system allows children under 18, individuals with intellectual, autism, or mental disabilities, dementia patients, and others to pre-register their fingerprints, photos, and guardian contact information in the police system for use in emergencies. Registration can be done through the Safe Dream website or at nearby police stations.
