Monolabs Subsidiary Koreshion Vitale Launches Non-Face-to-Face Medical Platform App 'Uju Yakbang'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Korection Vitale, a subsidiary of digital healthcare startup Monolabs, announced on the 14th the launch of the non-face-to-face medical consultation application (app) 'Uju Yakbang'.
Uju Yakbang is a platform where general users and chronic disease patients can receive medical consultations, prescriptions, and medication delivery via mobile. It was planned and developed to enable continuous health management for users by providing not only one-time but also regular medical consultations easily and conveniently. Numerous chronic disease specialists have provided advisory services for the planning of the service, particularly enhancing the convenience and accessibility of non-face-to-face regular medical consultations.
Users who require regular medical consultations can receive alarm messages, a self-developed feature, from medical staff and get immediate consultations without reservations or waiting. Medical staff can conduct both voice and video consultations within the app, which is also advantageous as it provides non-face-to-face medical consultation services without exposing personal information.
Uju Yakbang covers a wide range of medical fields, from COVID-19 to chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, pediatrics, dermatology, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, obesity and diet, hair loss, and more. Recently, it launched the 'Mind Counseling' service for psychological counseling, offering both reservation-based and 24-hour immediate consultations. All consultations are strictly confidential, and counseling mates are professional counselors holding master's or doctoral degrees related to counseling and psychology, as well as official certifications. Users can choose between non-face-to-face phone counseling or chat counseling.
