Gyeonggi-do to Conduct Comprehensive Audit of Osan City Starting from the 16th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will conduct a comprehensive audit of Osan City from the 16th of this month to the 8th of next month.
During the audit period, the province will receive reports from residents regarding various inconveniences such as permit corruption, illegal or improper acts by public officials, corrupt behavior by public officials, fraudulent claims on public finances, and illegal operations.
However, matters involved in investigations or trials, issues related to private rights or those that may infringe on privacy, and matters that have been or are being audited by other agencies are excluded from reporting.
The province will boldly utilize an exemption system for proactive administration that implements public interests such as the recovery of the people's livelihood economy through active work processing. It also plans to collect and reflect diverse opinions from residents and encourage active participation from citizen auditors.
