Holding a 'Relief Supplies Delivery Ceremony' Ahead of Dialogue with Residents
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam Province, is providing relief supplies to support the recovery and aid for disaster victims in the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey and Syria.

According to the county on the 13th, the relief supplies to be provided this time include items requested by the Embassy of Turkey in Korea, such as winter clothing for adults and children, thermal underwear, raincoats, boots, sneakers, and hats.
In Jangheung-gun, employees who voluntarily participated, along with local institutions and social organizations, are working together to collect relief supplies.
In particular, on the first day of promoting dialogue with residents, the 13th, relief supplies were delivered in Busan-myeon and Jangdong-myeon.
County Governor Kim Seong said, “People around the world are participating in emergency relief efforts together, and I am honored that our county is able to join promptly,” and added, “I thank all the residents who participated.”
He also said, “I hope this will help the Turkish people overcome their pain even a little,” and “I pray for a swift recovery.”
