MAN Truck & Bus Successfully Concludes '2023 Sales Kick Off Meeting'
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] MAN Truck & Bus Korea announced on the 13th that it successfully held this year's 'MAN Truck & Bus Korea Sales Kick Off Meeting.' The Sales Kick Off Meeting is an event aimed at nationwide sales dealerships and employees to review last year's achievements and announce sales strategies for the current year.
The event was held over two days, February 9-10, at the Yuseong Hotel in Daejeon. About 100 attendees participated, including Thomas Hemmerich, President of MAN Truck & Bus Korea, employees of MAN Truck & Bus Korea, and staff from 18 sales dealerships.
The Sales Kick Off Meeting was structured as a program centered on department heads reviewing business performance in 2022 and announcing key strategies for 2023. Additionally, time was allocated to encourage sales personnel and maintain continuous communication.
This year, MAN Truck & Bus Korea plans various programs for both quantitative and qualitative growth, including internal and external service restructuring, visits to the German headquarters and production facilities, golf tournaments, nationwide new product touring exhibitions, and test drive events. In particular, the company intends to actively operate 'Ausbildung,' a corporate-customized high-skilled talent development system that combines theoretical education with practical training at corporate sites.

At this event, MAN Truck & Bus Korea also held the 'Sales Awards' to recognize outstanding sales dealerships and salespeople who achieved remarkable results last year. Four excellent salespeople were honored, including ▲Top Salesperson ▲Dump & Tractor ▲Cargo Salesperson ▲Salesperson with the Most Growth Compared to the Previous Year, along with three outstanding sales dealerships: ▲Dump & Tractor Sales Excellence Dealership ▲Cargo Sales Excellence Dealership ▲Dealership with the Most Growth Compared to the Previous Year.
Kim Minje, Manager of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Cargo Dealership, who was selected as the Top Salesperson, said, "I am pleased to have my efforts recognized through this Top Salesperson award," adding, "Based on the know-how gained while working with colleagues at MAN Truck & Bus Korea, I will continue to sincerely approach and communicate with customers."
