Bucheon City Supports Safe Jeonse and Wolse Contracts for Single-Person Households
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province is providing a 'Jeon-Wolse Safe Contract Assistance Service' for single-person households experiencing difficulties with real estate contracts.
Any single-person household residing in Bucheon City can use the service free of charge, regardless of age or gender.
Recently, as the number of fraud cases involving "empty jeonse"?where the jeonse deposit is not returned due to the jeonse price being similar to or exceeding the sale price?has increased, caution is required when signing jeon or wolse contracts.
Accordingly, the city supports single-person households, especially young adults preparing for independent living and elderly people vulnerable to real estate information, to safely enter into jeon or wolse contracts with the help of experts.
Fourteen licensed real estate agents registered in Bucheon City have been appointed as Residential Safety Counselors to provide safe contract consultation services via phone, including information on jeon-wolse price formation and surrounding environment.
Consultation applications can be made through the Bucheon City website, by visiting the city's Real Estate Department, or by phone. Once the application is completed, the schedule is coordinated with a Residential Safety Counselor, and the consultation service is provided.
