View original imageThis capacity-building training was conducted for about 30 newly recruited members of the ‘9988 Health Instructor Group’ in 2023, focusing on basic qualities development for new volunteers through chronic disease prevention education and practice.
On the first day, education on chronic disease prevention and dietary education provided to patients at the Hypertension and Diabetes Registration Education Center was conducted. On the second day, practical training on correct blood pressure measurement methods was held, followed by a meeting to foster harmony and exchange opinions with existing members.
Volunteers of the ‘9988 Health Instructor Group’ operate various health experience centers and hypertension and diabetes promotion halls, measuring citizens’ blood pressure, providing early disease screening, guiding patients on complication examinations, and actively leading the prevention and management of hypertension and diabetes.
