Public Officials and Residents Join Efforts in Earthquake Damage Fundraising Participation

According to the county on the 11th, as the scale of damage from the strong earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria on the 6th has increased, after considering ways to help, public officials voluntarily decided to participate in a special fundraising campaign to contribute to emergency relief efforts.
In addition, the fundraising campaign will be expanded to allow participation from local institutions, social organizations, and various residents, and an encouragement campaign titled “Please Share the Hand of Hope” will also be conducted through various SNS platforms.
County Governor Woo Seung-hee expressed, “We extend our deepest condolences to the governments and people of both countries who are experiencing great difficulties due to the strong earthquake in Turkey and Syria,” and added, “Although small, we hope this will kindle a spark of hope and help them return to daily life, and we look forward to the swift recovery of Turkey and Syria.”
