View original imageAt the '2023 Dialogue with New Executives' event held on the 3rd, Chairman Chey emphasized, "Organizations with diversity have about 20-30% higher productivity," and "New executives, as representatives of the company, should not only play a role in building relationships but also represent the diversity of the organization," SK Group announced on the 10th.
Chairman Chey stated, "Global companies are increasingly respecting and embracing diversity," and emphasized, "Executives themselves need to change, accept diversity, and adopt an attitude of seeking new businesses beyond existing fixed ideas."
He also introduced that "the proportion of women among this year's new executives is about 7%, and all are Korean nationals," pointing out that "this is an area where we need to think more deeply in terms of diversity."
Furthermore, Chairman Chey stressed that communication and management systems are necessary to form and maintain good relationships. He said, "According to the foundation of the SK Management System (SKMS), the most important thing to do well is to build relationships," adding, "We must create happiness based on trust and data to strengthen relationships with stakeholders."

Chairman Chey also freely discussed the company's response strategies to geopolitical issues and the leadership qualities executives should possess.
He suggested, "As decoupling by industry is expected to intensify in the future, it is necessary to understand the current business situation and establish strategies based on scenario planning to respond," and "To do this, we must turn threats into opportunities through supply chain management and market expansion."
