Suncheon National University Recruiting Participants for 'Agriculture and Enterprise Linkage Enhancement Project'
Producer Groups and Small Food Companies, Support for Production and Use of Processing Agricultural Products, Recruitment
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Jeonnam Rural Convergence Industry Support Center at Suncheon National University (Center Director Song Kyung-hwan) announced that it is recruiting local producer groups and small and medium-sized food companies to participate in the ‘2023 Project to Strengthen Linkages between Agriculture and Enterprises’ until February 17.
According to a Suncheon National University official on the 7th, first, the ‘Support for Production of Agricultural Products for Processing’ is available to producer groups that supply agricultural products for processing through contract farming in connection with food companies.
The eligibility requirements are that the group must be located in the province and be a producer group of five or more farms or an organization linked with local agricultural cooperatives, and must possess a business registration certificate (unique number certificate).
The support limit is up to 40 million KRW (with a 20% self-payment separately) depending on the number of participating farms, and supports ▲education and consulting ▲quality control ▲improvement of farming environment ▲equipment facility rental and management fees.
The ‘Support for Use of Agricultural Products for Processing’ for food companies targets small and medium-sized food companies that procure raw agricultural products through contract farming with local producer groups.
The eligibility requirements are food and dining companies that have contract farming with producer groups or producer group?third party (such as local agricultural cooperatives)?food and dining companies, and must be small and medium-sized enterprises under the Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises (excluding simple distribution sectors).
The support limit is up to 20 million KRW (with a 50% self-payment separately). However, for certified rural convergence business operators, support can be up to 40 million KRW, and detailed support items include ▲new product development costs ▲promotion and advertising costs ▲facility and equipment rental costs.
