According to the county on the 6th, the West Sea Rang Trail Gochang Course 42 is a route where you can encounter Gochang's treasure, Seonunsa Temple. It is a representative course of the West Sea Rang Trail Gochang section where you can experience Seonunsa, which is beautiful in all four seasons, including camellias that signal the beginning of spring and the splendid cluster amaryllis that mark the start of autumn.

Participants in this event spent time walking the West Sea Rang Trail Course 42, a journey facing the tidal flats that have been a livelihood and the thousand-year-old temple.

This trekking, recruited from professional walking enthusiasts, started at the Gochang West Sea Rang Rest Area to promote the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Gochang Tidal Flats, and traveled to the thousand-year-old Seonunsa Temple on Seonunsan Mountain while listening to interesting explanations from cultural tourism guides.

Gochang Seonunsa, where a thousand years of history and culture breathe, is a tourist attraction that preserves a historic Buddhist culture and beautiful natural scenery.

After participating in the fam tour, participants plan to widely promote the West Sea Rang Trail Gochang section through their personal SNS or walking club meetings.

The county is currently conducting an event that provides a completion badge and souvenirs to those who complete the course among the West Sea Rang Trail Gochang sections (Courses 41 to 43) and certify completion through the Durunubi app.

A county official said, “The West Sea Rang Trail Gochang course consists of a total of three courses and is a path where you can feel the beautiful sunset and tidal flats of the west coast up close,” adding, “We hope you visit Gochang this year, the 2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year, and create precious memories.”
